Super Junior’s Heechul explains the process behind his career decisions
Super Junior’s Kim Heechul has been leading a busy career ever since his debut in 2005. SuperJunior
is on their third Asian tour, and he’s a fixed cast member of MBC’s “Radio Star“, “Night of Shining Memories“, and even SBS’s “Young Street.”
His four dimensional personality and self-named ‘Big Space Star’ image is obviously working with the public, but that doesn’t mean the way he’s driven his career based on spur-of-the-moment decisions.
In an interview with Star News, Heechul explained that the latter half of 2010 gave him a chance to reflect on his future.
He stated, “At the time, I wondered whether I should focus on my individual activities outside of Super Junior, or accelerate into the variety genre. I had a chance to visit L.A. during an SM Town concert last year amidst such concerns, and I was able to walk around freely while thinking as much as I wanted. In the end, I became determined to not worry about anything and to just focus on becoming a better MC.
When asked about his candid manner of speech, he replied, “I try to show a more honest and free sense of myself on broadcast, but I do realize that that means I must be even more respectful and upright outside of my broadcast activities.”
He continued, “If a character like me didn’t have respect as a foundation, it’s easy for me to be hated. Think about it. If I were to commit something that would raise public concern, wouldn’t I look really cocky? But of course, please note that my courteousness comes from my genuineness as well(laughter).”
Changmin declares love for Kyuhyun with aegyo
TVXQ recently made their Korean comeback with their chart-topping single, “Keep Your Head Down“. The duo has been busily promoting their new album in both Japan and Korea , but they recently made time to stop at a radio show for their fellow SM labelmate, Shindong.
Seizing the opportunity to have some fun with his guests, Shindong encourages them to show off theiraegyo. Both Yunho and Changmin played around with their aegyo for a bit, but when Changmin learned that Super Junior’s Kyuhyun was listening to the show, he summoned up all his aegyo power to deliver this ‘KO’ message: ”Kyuhyun-ah, are you listening? I love you.”

A look at Heechul’s room!
If you’ve ever wondered what Kim Heechul’s desk looks like, well today’s your lucky day!
The Super Junior member uploaded a picture of his desk, which borders a bookshelf filled with presents from fans. The desk itself is crowded with pictures of the star, and high above, you can spot what looks to be his elementary school graduation photo.
Heechul commented, “My old room! What a change!”
Super Junior’s Heechul interviews BoA about “Radio Star”
As many of you know, Super Junior’s Heechul is a fixed cast member on MBC’s “Radio Star“. On February 3rd, BoA shared a fun video of Heechul briefly interviewing her from the set, in the hopes of grabbing a shoutout for the show.
She tweeted, “@Heedictator BoA appeared on ‘Radio Star’ for the Lunar New Year~ It felt like I received a New Year gift~ hehe Please receive a lot of luck in the New Year~(^O^)/”

Leeteuk explains why Choi Si Won stands in the center for Super Junior
On February 1st, Super Junior’s Leeteuk guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart” and revealed the secrets behind how each member is positioned.
He explained that member Choi Si Won was in centre for a very important reason. “When Si Won stands in the center, it gives the illusion that all Super Junior members look handsome.”
MC Kang Ho Dong then asked Shindong whether he’d like to stand center, to which he replied, “When I saw Jung Won Kwan of ‘Fire Truck,’ I realized that first impressions are very important. If I stood in the center, Super Junior would just turn into a ‘fat group.’”
Leeteuk added, “The center isn’t always the best position though. In album jacket photos, because we have 13 members, the center stands where the jacket folds. Centers are positioned well in groups with only five to six members, but not in big groups like us.”
Doojoon, the leader of six member group B2ST, gave his own opinion by expressing, “Our choreographer positions us so that such concerns don’t arise. In our choreography, we stand in a circle without any center, so that every mother could spot their son.”
Heechul reveals a pre-debut picture
Ever wondered what Super Junior’s Heechul looked like when he was a teenager?
On February 1st, Heechul uploaded a pre-debut photo of himself on Twitter, which is actually from his KBS drama, “Banolim“.
In this picture, fans were able to see Heechul with brown hair, co-star Go Ara, and the currently “missing” Super Junior member, Kim Ki Bum.
Heechul is pretty easy to spot, but can you sight his two famous co-stars?
